What should I bring to my child’s first appointment?

Please bring your child’s medical history, vaccination records, insurance information, and any relevant paperwork from previous healthcare providers.

MEET OUR PRACTITIONERS

Dr. Flores Perkins

Dr. Perkins completed her pediatric training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. With over 25 years of practice experience, she has worked in Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. In her free time, she enjoys reading mystery books, walking, and spending time with her family. Dr. Perkins is excited to join PCOA and collaborate with families to help their children reach their full potential.

Madison Pryor, PA

Madison (Maddy) Pryor was born and raised in Central Texas. She graduated in 2017 from Baylor University cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a minor in Spanish. She then attended University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth where she earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2020. She is board certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA), and the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society (CTPAS). As a Physician Assistant, she is able to see children of all ages for well child exams, as well as acute or chronic complaints. She is happily married, and looks forward to growing their family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring the beautiful hiking trails in the area.

Dr. Rodolfo Barrera

Dr. Barrera attended The University of Texas at Austin and Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He received the Degree of Doctor of Osteopathy on May 19, 1979. He is currently in private practice in central Austin caring for infants, children and adolescents. He is also a Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Southwestern Medical School, North Texas State Health Science Center, and The University of Texas School of Nursing. He is an avid swimmer and indulges in Yoga. He is happily married, has three beautiful daughters and five wonderful grandchildren.
